2019 - present

A handmade Bible, planted with dirt and seeds, and cultivated so the life that grows from it can be harvested.

This project is an integration of my art practice and my faith practice. The work is ongoing and likely a lifelong endeavor.

I am making paper and transcribing the words of the Bible with a mixture of clay and my own saliva. I am taking the individual pages, layering them with dirt, and adding seeds. Each book of the Bible will make up its own planted form. I will water them, cultivate them, and eventually share the plants that grow from them.
